The piece we have chosen to give our lucky winner is a vintage bracelet that is very special and we believe will find a good home with one of you. This vintage Afghani agate cuff was made around 30 years ago by the Kuchi Pashtuns, a nomadic people in what is now Afghanistan. It is probably from the Logar region.
What can agate do for you in your life?
Agate’s most noticable properties overall are balancing yin/yang energy, courage, protection, healing, and calming. Historically it was placed in water for cooking or drinking to dispel sickness. The Metaphysical and Healing Properties Lore of any specific type of agate depend to some extent on the color of the agate, but all agates have certain things in common.
Agate is a stone of strength. It was used by on the breastplates of armor to give warriors strength and make them victorious in battle. Energetically, it is considered to give strength both and physically mentally.

I love the turkish gemstone “turquoise”, it is my favorite because it reminds me of the ocean, my first love, and it is said to attune itself to the characteristics of its owner. I wear my turquoise everyday, and everyday it seems to suit me more and more :’D! This bracelet is stunning and its history and properties make me so excited for this giveaway! There are too many!
I am a very spiritual person and believe in the healing powers of stones, minerals and the like. I love rose quartz, as well as old faithful Turquoise. Tanzanite is amazing. My husband nicknamed me Gypsy as I am Croatian decent and am attracted to shiny, pretty treasures which is why I’m very fortunate to have a job as a Magazine Style Editor!

My favourite stone is Opal (I must be feeling patriotic given it’s Australia’a national gemstone). I don’t have any of my own, but I visited the Coober Pedy mine on a camping trip with my family when I was 8 and I’ll never forget the first time I saw the speckled colours glimmering at me. It’s also the birthstone for Libra (which I am on the cusp of with Virgo) and represents qualities like hope, purity, happiness, faithfulness, loyalty and confidence….not bad I would say.
I’m sure I’ll get something with an opal stone one day.

I’m a real stone lover from Belgium! I have some nice rings and necklaces with beautiful stones in my personal jewellery collection. My favourite ones are rose quartz, moon stone and turquoise. And I have a passion for old rings that I find on flee markets and other nice places!

I have so many favourite stones, but one of my favourites are malachite and moonstone. Those two evoke wonderful memories from my childhood, my grandmother is kind of hippie and she always had rings and jewellery made of those stones, that is the reason why I like them so much. I also think that those kind of stones have something magical and make the person who wears them more sophisticated and chic.
