A sleepy Saturday under the snow

“And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don’t believe in magic will never find it.” ~ Roald Dahl ♥

I woke up early on Saturday and ventured out alone into the snow to marvel at the beauty. The small things like this in life are what count.

Everything was so much more peaceful in Paris this weekend under a blanket of snow. The sound of Paris is different, it feels numbed by the snowflakes and it’s as though the whole city is asleep. There are not many things more beautiful in the world than waking up, opening your blinds and seeing your whole street covered in white fairy dust.

  1. The best part about snow is definitely the smell. But then again, in Paris…the best part about the snow is the way it looks on all of the buildings, statues and even the way it floats through the air.
